Webcomic time isn’t the same as real time though. I mean, Linda’s been only kidnapped for 2 or 3 years right? And who knows when puberty of spidlings hits considering some of their advanced age.
To the comic, it’s always nice and ham-fisted when things get dark yet everything keeps their near shading down nicely.
Perry also doesn’t seem like the person to cook any of the food he buys/steals. Arika at least provides free labor Rog used to, except she has arms (and this is the only strip to have more 6-arm panels than 5-arm ones).
One last observation — how does one get back problems while flying? Perry could just dive-bomb Arika everywhere (six-legged surprise!) instead of picking her up (or at least bend down using his knees).
